Despite being raised on a farm that was supported by tobacco for decades, I truly believe that money is not worth people's lives. My grandfather died of lung cancer, uncle of emphysema, mother-in-law of lung cancer, my sister suffers from asthma, and my mom now has the beginning stages of emphysema. All were smokers except for my sister, who was around second hand smoke constantly as a child.

The devasting effects of tobacco have truly caused the most painful events of my family's lives. Smoking is not about a persons right to choose but rather more about the overall health and well being of everyone. And, most importantly about the children which have no choice but to breathe in deadly second hand smoke.
